The Women In Black

The woman in black starring the famous actor everyone knows from Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe is a great horror movie overall Its a movie that will give you goosebumps. I like the mise-en-scene of this film. Its vintage and reflects fear. Perfect premises to film a horror movie. The colors are dark and intimidating. I wanted a location similar to this but sadly.

The Nun

The Nun is a film that every person has heard of and has watched. its a story two Roman Catholic nuns living at the Saint Cartha’s monastery are attacked by an unseen evil force when they enter a tunnel to retrieve an Christian relic. I like the mise-en- scene of this film. It shows an old time era – that the big house represents. The music in this film used can make the person jump. In my film i have tried my best to give the viewers jump scares too because obviously the jump scares make the horror movies more thrilling.

THE HAUNTING IN THE HILL-HOUSE

The haunting of hill house is a very famous series. The music used in these film series is very thrilling and sets in the mood of the film. The concept overall is very emotional and the mise-en-scene makes the film more intimidating. I was truly inspired by the parallel cutting of scenes where Nell is dancing in the hill house all alone.

THE CONJURING

The conjuring movie is a well known movie. The movie is based on true events and the mise – en – scene of the film makes it more terrifying . The cinematography, I was inspired. The movements the angles , I wish I could put it off this well.

The bedroom where the opening sequence commences has a laptop to show him going through the photos. In the second scene where the wife will shoot her self has a gun , a wedding dress to portray the wedding day. the lighting changes to more bright exposing the day light. ]]

In the scene where the husband will walk out of room consists of a candle ,rose , mobile phone , mini light projector , blanket .

In the CCTV camera scene consists of obviously a CCTV camera screen and a warm light will be used .

The dead wife is a very insane and a psycho women who was against the marriage of her with the grieving husband, and is now making his blood run cold.

Sitting in complete sorrow and misery, a grieving husband is going through his wedding pictures after the suicide of his insane wife who shot her self on the day they both got married. He gets a flashback of the day she killed herself and wakes up startling, by the rapid knock on his gate. He walks to his cctv screen to see who it is. He drops his glasses and bends down to pick them up after which his dead wife appears in the cctv camera – who was invisible to him. He goes back to his room and lays down. He senses a presence and with heavy breathing when looks on top of him he sees his dead wife pointing the gun to him .
